Created by and starring Ruth Livier, this bilingual series follows the life of Ylse, a driven woman who challenges the traditional ideologies that surround her. As a Latina in entertainment, this Oprah-worshipping TV host encounters various situations that reflect the experiences that all bicultural people in the United States and around the world face at least once in their lives. Ylse is all about her family, friends and colleagues, and knows exactly what she wants in a potential romantic partner. Even though she inevitably faces stereotypes and machismo, Ylse always has something to say and knows what actions to take.
