It was just a couple of weeks before Christmas that the City of Laredo got the news that no man, woman or child should ever have to hear at this time of the year — the Grinch really does exist.

But rather than steal Christmas, this Grinch wants to steal the last remaining bookstore in this city of over 200,000 Texas-Mexico border residents.
