Ana Ortiz Campaigns for Latino Workers

Perhaps it’s because Ana Ortiz recently became a mother that has contributed to the fact that she’s gotten more and more active in human rights causes.
Her latest cause is Latino workers.
Working with PETA, Ana has written a letter to National Council of La Raza (NCLR), probably one of the most respected Hispanic civil rights and advocacy group, and has asked them not to partner with fast food chain McDonalds, because of that firm’s treatment of animals and its disrespect towards Latino workers who make up the majority of workers in the fast food chain’s slaughterhouses.
Who knew that behind that little Ortiz smile, there was a heart of steel, fighting for the rights of her Latino brethren.
